A game-changer if you’re tired of the same old chalky shakes. It’s not just a protein shake; it’s a refreshing experience.
SEEQ Protein packs a punch with high-quality, clean ingredients. It’s simple, clean, and organic.
A versatile protein, made for the athlete in all of us, without compromising on taste or quality.
Considerations
The distinct juice-like taste could be hit or miss depending on personal preference.
Some people find the powder a bit challenging to mix thoroughly, potentially leading to a less smooth texture.
Our Verdict
SEEQ Protein is a refreshing alternative to the creamy texture common in protein shakes. Its flavors, like blue razz and fruit punch, are designed for those seeking variety in their protein intake, underpinned by high-quality, clean ingredients.
However, the unique taste may not appeal to all, and its higher price point reflects the premium formulation. Some people have found challenges with mixability, leading to a less than ideal texture. Despite these considerations, SEEQ’s innovative approach offers a compelling option if you prioritize taste and ingredient quality.

Their unique selling proposition is the juice-like experience of their protein shakes, which not only cater to the nutritional needs of their consumers but also offer a refreshing taste and texture unlike any other protein powder on the market.
What sets SEEQ apart is their commitment to holistic health. SEEQ’s innovative approach extends to their flavor profiles as well, opting for icy flavored options like blue razz and fruit punch, which provide a novel and enjoyable way to consume protein.
The foundation of SEEQ and its rise in the market reflect a thoughtful consideration of what it means to lead a healthy lifestyle in the modern world. By integrating the aspects of mental health and community engagement into their brand ethos, SEEQ distinguishes itself as not just a protein powder company but as a wellness brand that supports its users’ overall well-being.

Taste and digestibility
The Fruit Punch flavor from SEEQ was interesting. It tasted like Hawaiian Punch with a hint of protein. I’m all for innovation, but mixing fruit punch and protein was something I had to wrap my head around. If you’re big on fruit punch and looking for a new way to get your protein, this might hit the spot for you. But for me, I gave it a 6.8.
The Blue Razz flavor was vibrant and tasted like blue Hawaiian Punch, which I didn’t like as much as the Fruit Punch flavor. I scored the Blue Razz flavor a 6.5 out of 10.
My stomach didn’t feel bloated or uneasy after drinking it. It’s smooth, it’s tasty, but if you’re stomach is particularly sensitive to sucralose or stevia, you may want to steer clear.

Protein density
You get 22 grams of protein in each serving, or 88% of your total calories coming from protein. SEEQ protein is in the 90th percentile of all 350+ protein powders in our proprietary database, which is why I gave it a 9 out of 10.
If you’re looking for a clean protein with minimal carbs, SEEQ is an excellent choice.
Bang for your buck
SEEQ Protein comes in at $1.79 per serving, placing it on the higher end of the price spectrum for whey protein powders. This price reflects not just the protein content, but also the unique qualities SEEQ brings to the table, like its juice-like flavors and high-quality ingredients.
With 22 grams of protein per serving, it offers a decent protein-to-cost ratio, especially if you’re someone who prioritizes quality and a unique taste experience over cost alone.
If you’re looking for a clean protein with fresh and refreshing flavors, and don’t mind paying a premium, SEEQ is a great choice.
Nutritional value
SEEQ Protein, in terms of nutritional value, is hitting about 70 to 80 percent of what you’d ideally want in a clean protein. It’s got 100 calories per scoop, no fat, no sugar, and leans on natural ingredients, but it’s not without its artificial flavoring.
You’ll notice it especially with the blue razz flavor which has a bit of an artificial aftertaste. They’ve made an effort to use some natural elements like vegetable juice for coloring, keeping the ingredient list not too lengthy, which is something I appreciate.
It’s clear SEEQ is trying to carve a niche for folks who dig the juice vibe, providing a protein option that doesn’t feel heavy or overly filling. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for something that’s more on the refreshing side, with a decent protein punch without the added sugars.
However, if you’re aiming for 100% purity in ingredients, SEEQ might fall a bit short due to the artificial components. You may prefer a traditional (non-clear) whey protein like Isopure that is nearly 100% protein. You can see my full review for that protein here.
Mixability
Mixability with SEEQ protein is pretty straightforward. You shake it up with 16-20 ounces of water, a bit more than usual, but it gets you that juice-like consistency we’re aiming for. Now, it does foam up a bit at first, making you think it’s not mixing right, but give it that 30 seconds to settle down as recommended, and you’re good to go. It turns into something smooth, resembling more of a juice than a shake.
But, there’s a twist. SEEQ suggests adding ice after it settles, which is not something you typically see with protein powders. Following these steps, it ends up being a smooth drink, almost like a protein-infused juice rather than a thick shake. So, in terms of mixability, it does the job well once it settles and you follow the steps, making it a unique choice for those looking for something different from their protein shake routine.
Third party testing and brand reputation
Third-party testing is huge for quality and safety in health products, and it’s something you want to see for that extra peace of mind. SEEQ, unfortunately, doesn’t have that third-party stamp of approval. Which is why my team and I gave it a 0 out of 10.
SEEQ has got a lot going for it, but the absence of third-party testing is a bit of a question mark regarding quality assurance and how effective it really is. It’s definitely something to keep in mind as you’re deciding if SEEQ is the right choice for you.
Founded in 2020, SEEQ is one of the newest protein brands on the market. So far, they seem to have a great reputation, and have not found themselves in the middle of any controversy, but we had to give them a 5 out of 10 in this category because it’s just too early to tell.

What Other People Are Saying
Here’s what other people are saying about SEEQ protein elsewhere online:
Many love the taste, comparing it to a melted popsicle, which brings a refreshing twist to the protein shake game.
The texture gets thumbs up for not being thick, offering a silky smooth sip that’s more like a drink than a shake.
Some folks mentioned initial digestive adjustments, though it seems to smooth out with regular use.
A few pointed out the sweetness might be a bit much, thanks to the artificial sweeteners. It’s a reminder that taste really is a personal thing.
On the whole, the vibe around SEEQ Protein is upbeat. Its unique approach, focusing on flavors and mixability, sets it apart, even if it’s not for everyone.
Alternative products to consider
Other “clear” whey isolate proteins on the market include MyProtein’s line of Clear Whey products, Naked Nutrition’s Clear Whey Isolate Protein, Isopure’s Infusions line, and Amazon’s clear whey protein line, “Whey Goods”.
Unfortunately, we’ve not tested any of these products yet, but we will be soon. Anecdotally, though, SEEQ and MyProtein appear to be the two most popular terms that people are searching for online, for what it’s worth.
Final Verdict
SEEQ protein breaks the mold with its juice-like flavors, offering a lighter, more refreshing take on protein. With flavors like blue razz and fruit punch, it’s a bold step away from the usual protein experience.
But SEEQ’s approach might not be for everyone. The higher price point at $1.79 per serving and the use of artificial sweeteners could be deal-breakers for some. Plus, the lack of third-party testing raises questions about quality assurance. It has its perks, especially if you’re looking for something different from your protein powder, but these factors are worth considering.
All that said, if you’re into a juice-like protein experience and don’t mind the price tag or artificial sweeteners, SEEQ could be a refreshing addition to your routine. But if you’re after something with a cleaner label or more rigorous quality testing, you might want to explore other options. It’s all about what fits your lifestyle and preferences best.
