Ninja Foodi Air Fryer With Dual Zone Technology Review
Ninja DZ201 Foodi 6-in-1 2-Basket Air Fryer with DualZone Technology
The Ninja Foodi Air Fryer is a versatile multifunction cooker, allowing you to roast, dehydrate, boil, and bake your meals in addition to air frying. It comes with two separate baskets that allow for two simultaneous methods of cooking, so that you can air-fry chicken while you roast potatoes, for example. The Ninja Foodi is an easy-to-clean air fryer, as each of its compartments is lined with nonstick material, and its crisper plates are dishwasher-safe. It can prevent you from having to do a big load of dishes and is also a great time-saver. All in all, I love this Ninja Kitchen gadget.
There are hardly any cons to this handy little powerhouse, except that it occupies a good deal of counter space. If you have a smaller kitchen, you may not want to invest in such a large air fryer.
The Ninja Foodi Air Fryer is well worth its $179.99 price tag—and you may even find it on sale on Amazon. It makes healthy cooking quicker and easier, with an easy cleanup process.

So What Do I Do With an Air Fryer?
Air fryers are all the rage these days, and with good reason—they make it possible to prepare healthy eats quickly and efficiently. They also allow you to cook crowd favorites like French fries and fried chicken with significantly less oil than a deep-fryer (or sometimes none at all!). Minimizing or eliminating cooking oil (like vegetable oil or coconut oil) in any recipe automatically makes it much better for you. The cooking possibilities are almost limitless—if you can make it in the oven, you can pop it into your air fryer and have it ready in just a few minutes.
Bonus: clean-up is super easy, as you’ll avoid using a big pile of dishes in the process. If you’re a fan of kitchen gadgets designed to make meal prep a no-brainer, like the Crock Pot and the Instant Pot, you’ll likely enjoy using an air fryer as well. I like the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer, but you might check out the NewAir Air Fryer while you’re shopping. Either is a good choice if you’re looking to invest.
Healthy Air Fryer Recipes
Ready to explore air fryer cooking? Check out some of my favorite healthy air fryer recipes. Note that while you can air fry just about anything you’d bake or roast in an oven, you need to use recipes written specifically for your air fryer.
Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Fried chicken wings are a crowd-pleaser, but cooking them in oil makes them greasy and full of fat. Skip the unwanted extra calories and messy kitchen with this easy recipe from Delish. You can serve your delicious and crispy wings with cut-up carrots and celery for a serving of healthy veggies.
Air Fryer Garlic Shrimp
You can have juicy and flavorful shrimp ready as an appetizer or part of an entree in just fifteen minutes with this great recipe from Air Fryer World. Garlic, lemon, and salt and pepper are all you need for delicious air-fried seafood. Eat them on salad greens for a nutritious and satisfying meal.
Air Fryer Ground Beef
Looking for healthy ground beef recipes? Use your air fryer to prepare the beef, and you’ll drain away extra fat and grease. Air Fryer Roasted Veggies
Make these savory veggies as a main dish or a side in just minutes with this recipe from AllRecipes. It calls for zucchini, summer squash, mushrooms, cauliflower, asparagus, and red pepper, but it’s easy to substitute other favorites. If you struggle to eat your daily recommended allowance of veggies, you’ll find that the air fried variety is anything but bland.
Air Fryer French Fries
Who doesn’t love crispy, salty, delicious French fries? This excellent recipe from Well Plated is much easier on your diet than the fast-food variety. Customize them with dried dill weed, cayenne pepper, or freshly grated Parmesan cheese—yum! You’ll never believe they’re made with just two tablespoons of olive oil.
Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks
As appetizers go, mozzarella sticks are crazy good—but the ones restaurants serve are often deep-fried and high in calories and fat. Use your air fryer to make healthier homemade mozzarella sticks with this easy recipe from Simply Recipes. They require absolutely no oil, and you’ll never miss it. You can also use low-fat string cheese sticks to make the recipe lighter.
Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Donuts
Yes—you can prepare awesome (and lighter) treats for dessert in your air fryer! Check out this recipe for cinnamon sugar air fryer donuts from Kitchen Fun With My Three Sons. It requires only four ingredients and takes five minutes to make. It’s easy to make donut holes too!
